Pavona’s Restaurant
Pavona’s has been a fixture of Akron for many years. Its cozy, intimate feel makes it a perfect choice for almost every occasion, from a first date to a night out with friends. Service is fast and friendly, and the pizza is the real deal from a wood-fired oven. If you’re choosing a pizza, your first choice starts with a medium 10″ or a large 16″.
Once you have chosen the size of your pizza, you have numerous options to customize it. They have the regular red sauce, together with five other options. Your next choice is from six types of cheese topping and, finally, a choice of seventeen toppings. They offer eight signature pizzas. We highly recommend their mushroom madness pizza with three types of mushrooms and a mushroom garlic base. Pavona’s can be found at 32 Sand Run Road.
Guiseppe’s Pizza
Guiseppe’s is a family-owned and managed restaurant that’s now managed by the third generation of the family. For over 59 years, Guiseppe’s has been a go-to place for authentic pizza and good times. They offer eleven basic pizzas, and you have a choice of sizes from 6″, 9″, 12″, and 14″. Alternatively, you have the option to build your own.
They’re noted for a fine, crispy base, and whichever pizza you choose, you’re guaranteed to have loads of cheese melted on top. Our personal favorite is the meat lovers’ pizza with homemade sausage, ham, bacon, and pepperoni. Guiseppe also features a variety of sides and salads to make your meal compete. Regina’s Pizza
Regina’s first opened its doors in 1970, and they’ve attracted legions of happy pizzas lovers ever since. It is family-owned and managed, and it has some of the friendliest servers around. Their pizza is available in 9″, 12″, and 18″, and they have four basic pizzas with a build-your-own option too.
Their dough is freshly-made daily, and the pizza sauce follows an old family recipe. When you take these details and add only the finest local ingredients, you have some of the most amazing pizzas in the county. Regina’s can be found at 2160 E Avenue.
