Adapting to off-road trails as easily as it takes to city streets, the 2023 Yukon XL is a versatile SUV that’s ready to venture wherever your journeys should take it. Now available here at your local GMC dealership, this edition offers decadent interior amenities and cutting-edge technology.

Performance Options

With three stunning engines for you to choose from with this edition, you can take your pick between two V8s and a turbo-diesel I-6. Standard with both the Denali Ultimate and Denali models, the 6.2-liter V8 delivers the strongest output with 420 horsepower, while the 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V8 that comes standard with the AT4, SLT, and SLE models is still impressively strong and enables the vehicle to achieve an 8,300-pound maximum towing capacity when paired with the Max Trailering Package.

Then, there’s the available 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine, which generates 277 horses and gets an estimated 756 miles in total driving range, giving it an impressive balance of both power and fuel efficiency.

Interior and Technology

The Yukon XL’s interior is both stylish and comfortable, with leather-trimmed seats available for all three rows, a heating setting for both the first and second-row seats, and a separate ventilation setting for the first row as well. The acoustic laminated windshield and windows help to provide peaceful drives by reducing the sound of outside noise, while genuine wood panels convey a sophisticated look inside the cabin.

In addition to the GMC Infotainment System, which comes with a full-color touchscreen and multiple functions, including entertainment and navigation options, plenty of other impressive tech features are offered for this edition. The 15-inch diagonal Head-Up Display allows you to receive notifications and keep tabs on vehicle information by glancing down at a small area of the windshield, while the mobile Wi-Fi hotspot allows every passenger to connect to it with their personal devices simultaneously.

Safety-Monitoring Features

Few SUVs offer as many hi-tech safety features as this one does, with Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking being three obvious highlights. When you’re approaching other vehicles, the first system can let you know if you’re moving too quickly toward them, while the other two can apply brake pressure to bring you to a stop if a collision with a vehicle or pedestrian is imminent.

If the headlights from another vehicle are detected on a dark road while you have your high beams on, the IntelliBeam Auto High Beams feature can temporarily switch to your low beams until the other vehicle passes.
