The rest of the Sierra 1500 lineup features a 6.2-liter V-8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. With that much power, the Sierra 1500 has a 13,000-pound towing capacity.
Performance
Sierra 1500 models featuring the 2.7-liter engine also come equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while upper trim levels get a 10-speed automatic. Both transmission systems enhance engine response while delivering precise acceleration and straightforward handling.
